High Speed Gear Inc. T.E.A. Bag [For a high resolution version of this image right click on it and select "view image"] I'll admit it, I bought this bag without a clear use in mind. I love HSGI gear so when I saw this bag I figured what the heck, I'll find some kind of use for it. The HSGI website was showing a 2 week wait on Coyote Brown Tea Bags but I contacted them on their Facebook page and found out that was to cover their rears. You may want to check before ordering but mine showed within a week and a half or so. Want a discount on your own HSGI T.E.A. Bag? Become a fan on their Facebook Page. The T.E.A. bag lives up to the quality standards I've seen in other HSGI gear. The quality of the materials used and the build quality is top notch. I cannot find any imperfections in this bag. This bag is tuff as nails and will take a beating. From the HSGI Website "The T.E.A. (Tool-Equipment-Accessories) Bag... Is a medium size bag measuring 12"Lx5"Wx7"H. But, after recieving the bag, I decided to put it into immediate use as my EDC bag. I have a lot of bags that I have used as EDC bags. Some very big and some small like the T.E.A. Bag. I've found that the more room that you have the more crap you stuff into the bag. I've also found that when I really load up a bag I tend to not carry it everywhere with me. The smaller bags with the basics usually get carried everywhere. I believe the T.E.A. Bag is going to serve well in this role. I ripped apart my current EDC bag and started putting together the bare essentials. The things that I use pretty much daily and the things that I'd be hurting if I needed them and didn't have them. I started with a Medium Kifaru Pull Out [honestly I'm a little surprised no one else is making something similar to this product. They are very useful] and began filling it up. Going along with the mindset of a Possibles Pouch. - iPod headphones
- Daily vitamins
- Misc over the counter medications [Imodium AD, Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Sinus Decongestant]
- Assorted band-aids
- Alcohol wipes
- Hand Warmer
- Baby wipes
- Bic Lighter
- County Comm Aircraft Mechanic Key Rings [1 small, 1 large]
- NiteIze Figure 9
- Spare car key
- Gum
- 10 ft paracord
- Lip Balm
- Energy Bar
Once that was done I started going through a few other things that I keep in my EDC. I tossed those essentials into the bag too. Which is good because I am still in the process of putting the bag together and will surely add a couple more items. I plan to start carrying this bag regularly. Time will tell how well it will work in this role. I have no doubts the bag itself will hold up to daily use. What's undertermined is how much crap I will take because this things looks strikingly similar to a purse... |
